A page at /product/<uuid> with your product framed as an alternative to named incumbents, plus a founder card carrying your name and X handle. The outbound link is rel="noopener noreferrer" with a ?ref=indiehustles parameter, so it follows. The whole premise is comparison: the site exists to answer "what is the indie version of this popular SaaS".

How to submit to IndieHustles

  1. Open /submit
    One page, no account. Your name, email and X handle, then the product name, website, one of twelve categories, a tagline and the comma-separated alternatives.
  2. Choose the plan card
    Priority at $9 is preselected and badged Recommended. Free is the card beside it. The submit button reads "Submit & Pay $9" until you click Free, when it becomes "Submit for Free".
  3. Submit
    It redirects to /thank-you.

Gotchas

The wait is quoted twice and the numbers do not match. The free plan card on the form says 8 to 10 weeks; the thank-you page you land on says they will get back to you within 5 to 7 days. Plan for the longer one.
The paid card is preselected and the submit button says "Submit & Pay $9" from the moment the page loads. Free is a click away, and the button only relabels itself once you take it, so it is easy to pay by reflex.
