What you actually get
A product page at /products/<your-domain> that is live the moment you finish, plus an entry in that week's tournament where your product is put head to head against one other and the community votes. Both outbound links on that page carry rel="nofollow". The homepage offer of a 55+ DR backlink is real but conditional, and the site itself rates 51 rather than 55.
How to submit to RankInPublic
1Sign in with Google and finish the profile
The only sign-in is Continue with Google. It drops you on an onboarding screen wanting a username, a first name and a last name before anything else works, with a tournament newsletter box pre-ticked.
2Paste your URL and let it scrape
The homepage box takes your site and opens the launch modal. It pulls your logo and fills the name, short and long descriptions from your own page before you see them.
3Fix the copy, then take the screenshot step
Name caps at 30 characters, short description at 150, long at 1000. The next screen captures your homepage itself and gives you the option to replace it.
4Tag it, vote in the live matchup, pick the tournament
Three tags minimum from their ten suggestions. A head to head between two other products then appears and wants a vote before the tournament picker, where Select Free sits beside Select Premium at $29.
5Decline the add-ons twice
An add-on screen offers directory submissions and a featured spot, both with a $0 option. Choosing them lands on a full-page upsell whose real trigger is the quiet Continue with free launch button under the $29 card.

Gotchas
The backlink the homepage advertises is a placement prize on the free lane. Their own upsell puts it plainly: free launch "must rank in top 3", premium is "guaranteed regardless of ranking", and the listing's links are nofollow either way.
Their scraper writes your long description for you and it arrives with your meta description pasted in twice. It ships exactly like that unless you clear the field and retype it.
A live vote between two other products is wedged into the flow before you can pick your tournament, and there is no skip on it.
The success URL reads directoryPlan=Directory-Submission-100 even when you took the $0 option on every add-on. Check My Products on the profile rather than the URL: it should say you have submitted to no directories.
Let your agent submit to RankInPublic
Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the RankInPublic playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.
What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 4 RankInPublic rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 6 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: $29 one-time Premium guarantees the backlink regardless of where you place, skips the queue to the next slot, allows several launches at once and lets you email a discount code to everyone who voted for you. A hero Featured Spot is $29 weekly, $99 monthly or $999 yearly, and a done-for-you directory submission add-on is $199 for 100 directories or $249 for 140.
Types it into RankInPublic in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to RankInPublic?".
