Eligibility

Who Trustpilot accepts

You need
A phone number, which is required on the third screen and has no way past it
A first and last name for the person signing up, both required
A business website, which the first screen takes
A revenue bracket and a headcount bracket, both required on the second screen
You'll be rejected if
Anyone unwilling to give a phone number, since the flow cannot be completed without one

What you actually get
A profile on a DR 94 domain that ranks for your brand name plus the word reviews, which is the reason to be here: the page tends to sit near the top for anybody searching whether you are trustworthy. How long it takes to appear is not published anywhere and the walk stopped at the terms checkbox, so no time is claimed. The link is not the reward: outbound anchors on a review page carry rel="nofollow noopener", sampled five times on one profile.

How to submit to Trustpilot

1
Business details
Country, business name and website. The name field is a Dun and Bradstreet company lookup rather than a text box.
2
Additional details
Job title, annual revenue and number of employees, all three required. The revenue brackets start at $0 to 4.99 million, so a small product answers honestly in the first one.
3
Personal details
First name, last name, a phone country code and a phone number. All four are required and this is where the flow stops if you will not give a number.
4
Activate account by email
The fourth screen takes an email address and sends an activation link. Their own note says an address on your own domain gets you set up faster, and a different one triggers a check that you own the website.
5
Accept the terms to finish
The activation link lands on a single checkbox accepting the terms and agreeing to receive performance suggestions and company updates, with Complete setup disabled until it is ticked.

Gotchas

A phone number is mandatory on the third of four screens. There is no skip and no alternative, so a maker who does not want to hand over a number cannot finish signing up at all.
The business name field is a Dun and Bradstreet company lookup, so an unregistered sole trader or a young company gets "No results found" and looks blocked. The way through is a "Type my business details manually" row that sits above the results rather than below them.
The link is nofollow. Five outbound anchors on one review page all carried rel="nofollow noopener", so this is worth doing for the brand-name search result rather than for the backlink.
The last click bundles two things: accepting the terms and agreeing to receive performance suggestions and company updates. There is one checkbox for both and Complete setup stays disabled until it is ticked, so there is no way to take the account without the marketing.

Let your agent submit to Trustpilot

Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the Trustpilot playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.

What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 5 Trustpilot rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 7 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: the account is free and the signup calls itself Create Your Free Account. Paid plans exist for review invitations and widgets, and nothing in the four signup screens quotes a price or asks for a card.
Types it into Trustpilot in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to Trustpilot?".
