What you actually get
A page among 380 listings with your description, features and category tags, and a dofollow link to both your site and your repo: no rel attribute on either, checked live. The catch is timing. Merges arrive in occasional batches: the last one was 2026-05-27 and it cleared pull requests opened in February and April at once. Five submissions are open right now, the oldest from 2026-06-21.

Create content/${author}-${templatename}.md, for example shadcn-ui.md. The GitHub UI's Add file button is enough; no local clone is needed.

title, author, avatarUrl, createdAt, demoUrl, description, distribution (open-source or premium), githubUrl and a category array. Premium listings add price, affiliateUrl and themeKey. Body prose becomes the Overview and Features sections.

Open-source listings are unlimited and free. Every account also gets one free premium listing; more than one costs a single $100 payment. Premium listings are reviewed for quality before publishing.

Gotchas
The queue moves in batches and the batches are months apart. The most recent merge, on 2026-05-27, cleared pull requests opened on 9 February, 13 April and 21 April in one go. Five are open today, the oldest since 21 June, and nothing has been merged since.
One premium listing per person is free and a second costs $100, one time, forever. Open-source listings stay unlimited and free, so the fee is aimed at people listing a catalogue of paid templates.
The link is genuinely dofollow, to your site and your repo, with no rel attribute on either. That is rare at this DR and it is the reason to bother.
Nothing here takes a product that is not shadcn/ui related. Their README says code resources, so a SaaS that happens to use shadcn does not qualify: the listing has to be the template or component set itself.
