What you actually get
A permanent page under /startup/ with a followed link, running in a numbered launch week alongside other products, with upvotes and comments. Their own pricing says every lane gets a followed link. On the free lane the week has to be bookable, and none of the next twenty six were.

How to submit to Post Your Startup

  1. Sign in
    Google, GitHub or email and password.
  2. Fill the builder profile
    First name, last name and a bio. Nothing can be submitted until this is saved, and the surname is required.
  3. Upvote two startups
    A gate before the form: two upvotes on other people's launches, from a randomised list.
  4. Describe the product
    URL, square logo, name, tagline, a description up to 1,000 characters, categories and tags.
  5. Pick a lane
    Free with the badge, nine dollars to skip the queue, or 299 for the social package.
  6. Install and verify the badge
    Their embed code, then a Verify Badge control that takes the URL of the page carrying it.
  7. Schedule a launch week
    The free lane runs in a numbered week rather than going live immediately.

Gotchas

Every free launch week is full: on 2026-09-08 the calendar showed weeks 28 through 53, twenty six weeks out, all marked FULL. The nine dollar tier skips the calendar entirely, so free is a queue with nothing bookable in it.
Two upvotes on other people's startups are required before the submission form will open at all.
The builder profile needs a surname, and it is the name printed under the launch, so a Google display name of the product goes out as the maker unless it is overwritten.
The badge they generate links to your own listing page, not to their homepage.
