What you actually get
A permanent listing and an AI-written detail page in that week's board, with a nofollow link out to you. The dofollow the homepage advertises belongs to paying launches and to whoever finishes the week at number one, so the realistic free outcome is a page on their domain and whatever traffic a weekly board sends.

How to submit to LaunchBoard

1
Sign in before anything else
/submit and the header button both bounce to the homepage while signed out. Google, X and email are offered; the real form lives at /dashboard/submit.
2
Pick the free lane
Three cards: $9 single, $29 for five, or Free. The free card states its own terms plainly, including "No backlink".
3
Do the four community chores
Upvote three products and comment on one. A 0/4 counter gates the form, and a checkbox warns that duplicate-account upvoting cancels your launch.
4
Fill the product form
Name (80 chars), category, tagline (300), optional about (2,000), website, up to five tags, maker name, X handle, logo and up to three gallery images.
5
Embed the badge, verify, submit
Copy their embed into your footer and press Verify badge on website; it answers "Badge found on your website." Submit Launch stays disabled until the four community tasks are also done.

LaunchBoard requirements

An account (Google, X or email)
Product name within 80 characters
Tagline within 300 characters
Live website URL
Product logo
Maker name
Their badge live in your footer, verified (free lane)
Three upvotes and one comment on other listings (free lane)
About text up to 2,000 characters, up to 3 gallery images, X handle, up to 5 tagsoptional

Gotchas

The free lane returns nothing to your domain. Its own feature list reads "No backlink", and a live listing's Visit Website link carries rel="noopener nofollow". Only the week's number one earns a dofollow, so you can do every chore, place the badge and still finish with a nofollow.
The form will not submit until you have upvoted three other products and commented on a fourth, and a checkbox on the way out warns that upvotes from duplicate accounts invalidate and cancel your launch.
The badge they ask you to embed is a 1,891x772 PNG weighing 1.3 MB, and their snippet sets no width beyond the img attributes, so a straight paste puts a megabyte image in your footer.

Let your agent submit to LaunchBoard

Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the LaunchBoard playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.

What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 5 LaunchBoard rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 9 fields this form asks for, 1 of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Warns you that LaunchBoard looks for its badge on your site, so it has to be live before you submit rather than after.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: $9 a launch or $29 for five credits; paid launches are instant, dofollow, and skip both the badge and the chores.
Types it into LaunchBoard in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to LaunchBoard?".
