What you actually get
A card in a small index of launch directories and boilerplate sites, filed under one of six categories, with a bare dofollow link to your domain. The site is the live demo for the Indie Starter template it sells, and its own footer says so, so the readership is largely people evaluating the template rather than makers hunting for tools. Take the link, not the traffic.

How to submit to Indie Directory

  1. Sign in first
    Submit in the nav goes to /my-products, which needs an account. The login card offers a magic link, Google and GitHub, so an existing session gets you straight through.
  2. Open the dialog behind Add directory
    There is no form on the page: /my-products shows only a Your Products List heading and an Add directory button, which opens a modal called Submit your product.
  3. Fill eight fields
    Product name, logo URL, tagline, product website URL, an optional affiliate URL, a category from AI, Boilerplate, Design, Dev, General or PH alternatives, comma-separated tags, and a pricing radio of Free, One time fee or Subscription.
  4. Press Create and watch the count
    The card appears immediately under Your Products List with an "under review" badge and the line "Product is under review, you will get notified once approved". No review time is stated.

Gotchas

The logo field takes a URL rather than a file, so a logo that only exists on your machine cannot be used: it has to be hosted somewhere public before you start.
Nothing on the site states a review time. The listing sits at "under review" with a promise of notification and no date to hold anyone to.
The submit control and the submit form are in different places: Submit in the nav only reaches an empty products page, and the actual form is a modal behind an Add directory button.
