Who FutureStack accepts

You need
An account, with Google sign-in offered
A description of at least 800 characters
A tagline between 55 and 95 characters
A logo file under 2MB

Nothing is refused by category, but the form will not let you past step one on a thin description: 800 characters is a hard floor and the field scores what you wrote out of 100 while you type.

What you actually get
A review page at /tools/<slug> titled around your product, carrying your tagline, the long description, key features, roles, platforms, a logo and a banner. It gives you three separate dofollow anchors, not one: the Visit Website button, the bare domain in the body, and an Official pricing page link, all rel="noopener noreferrer". Their confirmation says review within 48 hours.

How to submit to FutureStack

  1. Make an account
/submit shows a sign-in wall. Continue with Google, or email and a nine-character password. The newsletter checkbox on the signup form is ticked for you.
  2. Step 1, Core Details
Name, an auto-generated slug, website URL, a tagline of 55 to 95 characters, and the long description. There is an Affiliate Consent checkbox here, off by default, which lets them replace your link with an affiliate one.
  3. Step 2, Classification
One category from twelve, one pricing badge from four, any of seven roles with one settable as primary, and any of five platforms.
  4. Step 3, Media
A logo, required, as a file or a URL. A 1200x630 banner is optional and gets converted to WebP.
  5. Step 4, Features and Pricing
Up to four key features of 80 characters each, then optional pricing plans, pros and FAQs. Add Tool submits it.

Gotchas

The description has an 800-character floor and a live grader beside it scoring Length, Tool name, Strong hook, Structure, Audience, Verbs, No fluff and No filler out of 100. It tells you to stop opening with the product name and to name your audience, and a short paragraph simply will not pass, so bring real copy rather than a tagline.
Step 1 carries an Affiliate Consent checkbox reading "Allow us to use an affiliate link for your tool". It is off by default and turning it on hands them the right to point your listing somewhere other than at you.
The signup form ticks its newsletter box for you. Untick it before creating the account if you do not want the weekly mail.
The sponsored panel that sits beside the form for the whole submission is an advert for a rival directory-submission service, carrying their own referral parameter. It is the only paid thing on the site and it is aimed at the person filling in the form.
