What you actually get
A row in the tools directory and, once approved, a community pick in /reviews under your account's byline. Listings there link out with rel="noopener noreferrer" and no nofollow, so the link follows. The site reads as an editorial paper rather than a launch board: opinion pieces, founder stacks and textcasts sit alongside the directory, and the traffic is founders reading comparisons rather than a launch-day rush.

How to submit to FoundersHub

  1. Create the account from /account
    There is no password anywhere. Type the address, press "Email me a magic link", then open the confirmation mail and click through; you land back signed in as your handle.
  2. Open /submit/tool
    The other lanes on /submit are a story, a stack and a product. The tool lane is the one that puts a row in the directory.
  3. Fill the card
    Name, URL, a category from a fixed list of twelve, one line of description, a pricing pill, two to four comma-separated tags, and who it is for as checkboxes: Solo Founder, Small Team, Agency.
  4. Type your name and email at the bottom, then submit
    Both are required even though the page says who you are posting as. The success state is a "RECEIVED" panel saying the review queue takes 7 to 14 days.

Gotchas

Signing in is by magic link only. There is no password field to save, so every later visit means opening a mail again.
Being signed in does not fill the form in for you: the last two fields are your name and your email, both required, and the submit button does nothing while they are empty.
Approval is editorial and slow by design. Nothing appears on the site for 7 to 14 days, and the confirmation is careful to say "if we publish it".
There is a "Ship or Die community project" checkbox above the name field. Ticking it claims membership of their community, so leave it alone unless you are actually in it.
