What you actually get
A post at steemhunt.com/@handle/your-slug with a dofollow outbound link, entered into a ranking that resets at midnight Korean time. The archive is 237,000 products deep since 2018, but the day I looked, 33 products shared $0.02 in total rewards and the only comments were automated witness bots. This is an aged dofollow domain, not an audience.
How to submit to Steemhunt

Get a Steem account first
There is no signup on Steemhunt itself. You register a Steem blockchain account elsewhere, which is its own process with its own key custody.

Sign in with a posting key
/sign-in asks for a Steem username and posting key, stored in your browser until logout. No OAuth, no email link, no password-only option.

The form lives at /post behind that login. A published hunt renders as name, tagline, an outbound "CHECK IT OUT" link, images and a description.

Signing in means typing a Steem private posting key into a web form; there is no OAuth, no email link and no way to post without handing over the key.
The crypto reward is the entire pitch and it has collapsed: the site advertises a $1.44 average per hunt, and on the day I looked all 33 products of the day generated $0.02 between them.
Anyone can hunt any product, so a stranger may already have posted yours, written its description and taken the reward, and a duplicate cannot be posted over it.
