How to submit to MaidenSail

1
Sign in
The wizard at /submit/basics is gated. /auth offers Twitter/X and Google, and an email and password form underneath them.
2
The basics
URL, startup name, a 90-character one-liner and a category. There is a "Generate with AI" button that drafts the whole form from your homepage; skip it if you have your own copy. The category defaults to Fintech.
3
Product and media
A description of three to five short paragraphs, a square logo (min 240x240, up to 5MB), up to six screenshots and an optional demo video link.
4
Stage and intent
Current stage defaults to Revenue. Set it honestly: they say mislabelled listings get corrected at verification. Traction numbers are optional and self-reported.
5
Pick a lane
Simple list is free with no badge and no backlink. Verified is free and gives the dofollow DR30 link, but requires the badge plus four votes. Paid is $9.99 and waives both gates.
6
Clear the gates and submit
Embed the badge, click Verify and activate, vote for four startups in your week, give a phone number, then submit for review.

Gotchas

A phone number is mandatory before the submit button will work, and it is not optional on any lane. The country selector defaults to India (+91), so change it before typing.
You must upvote four other startups from the same launch week before submitting. The button reads "Back the fleet to unlock" until you have.
The form ships with two defaults that lie about your product: current stage is set to Revenue, and the category to Fintech, whatever you are building. They say mislabelled listings get corrected at verification, so set both yourself.
The badge must stay live permanently: it is what flips the DR30 backlink from nofollow to dofollow, and removing it reverts that.
Weeks fill up. When we submitted, the current week was already fully booked and the next had 9 of 30 berths left, so a specific launch date needs booking early.
Their "Generate with AI" button drafts your whole listing from your homepage. It is fast, but it writes copy you did not, so review every field if you use it.

Let your agent submit to MaidenSail

Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the MaidenSail playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.

What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 6 MaidenSail rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 10 fields this form asks for, 2 of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Warns you that MaidenSail looks for its badge on your site, so it has to be live before you submit rather than after.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: $9.99 one-time skips the badge, the vote gate and the queue.
Types it into MaidenSail in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to MaidenSail?".
