What you actually get
A founder page at indielogs.com/<username> with your startups listed under it, a dofollow link out, and a place in a directory whose leaderboard is driven by update frequency. That last part is the real cost: the ranking rewards people who keep posting, so a listing you never touch again sinks.
How to submit to IndieLogs
1Sign in
Sign in with Google, X or email at /auth. The account is created by the same click and lands on a free plan with no card.
2Set up the founder profile
A modal gates everything else: full name, the username that becomes indielogs.com/<you>, an 80-character bio, an avatar and seven social fields plus a custom link.
3Add your startups
Startups hang off the founder profile rather than being submitted separately, and they appear in the Startups feed and the category pages.
4Keep posting updates
The directory at /rankings sorts founders by updates per day, week, month and all time, so the listing is a running log rather than a one-off submission.
IndieLogs requirements
Account (Google, X or email link)
Username for the public URL
Bio, hard cap 80 characters
Startup name, description and URL
Avatar imageoptional
Social links: mail, GitHub, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagramoptional
Gotchas
The bio is capped at 80 characters, which is shorter than most packs carry, so bring a trimmed version.
Visibility here is a subscription of effort, not a submission: the public leaderboard ranks founders by how many updates they posted this day, week and month.
We could not complete the profile setup: the Save changes button cleared the form and persisted nothing across three attempts, and the modal blocks the Billing and Appearance tabs until it saves. Budget for that going wrong.
Let your agent submit to IndieLogs
Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the IndieLogs playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.
What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 4 IndieLogs rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 6 fields this form asks for, 2 of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: free tier with no card; a paid plan sits behind the Billing tab and no price is published.
Types it into IndieLogs in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to IndieLogs?".
