A listing page at /startup/<slug> after an editorial review of one to three days, with what they call a permanent DR 67 dofollow link. Weeks run about a hundred spots, so the free lane is not a scarcity race.

Gotchas
Their badge has to point at your listing page rather than their homepage, so it cannot be added before the wizard has reserved a slug for you.
The badge image renders a live upvote count fetched from their servers, so it is a script on your page as well as a link.
A site that hides the badge inside an iframe, which they name Wix and Framer as doing, has to prove ownership with a DNS TXT record instead.
