What you actually get
A project page and a slot in a weekly leaderboard: launches all go live at 08:00 UTC on a Monday and a limited number run each week. Every tier including the free one promises a dofollow backlink. The free queue is up to 14 days, so pick the badge route only if you can wait for a Monday.

How to submit to Launch Ranking

  1. Sign in
Google, GitHub, or email and password. /projects/submit bounces to /sign-in with a redirect back.
  2. Step 1, Project Info
Name, website URL, an optional affiliate URL, a rich-text short description, a square logo of at most 1 MB and a 16:9 product image. There is an AI Autofill button beside the URL.
  3. Step 2, Details
Up to three categories from a very long list, up to five tech stack tags typed and entered one at a time, the platforms it runs on, a pricing model, and optional GitHub and X URLs.
  4. Step 3, Launch Date
Free Launch is preselected. Underneath it is a Backlink Badge Verification panel with the embed code in light and dark, a confirmation checkbox and a Verify Backlink button.
  5. Publish the badge, verify, then finish
Next stays disabled until the verifier finds the badge on your site. Only then can you reach the Review step and submit.

Gotchas

The free launch is not free of obligations: their badge has to be live on your site and their verifier has to find it before the form will let you finish.
The final Submit Project blanked the page and created nothing: the dashboard still showed zero projects across Active, Upcoming, Not paid and Past. Verify the dashboard rather than trusting the click.
Launches only happen at 08:00 UTC on Mondays and they run a limited number each week, so the free queue is up to 14 days rather than a date you pick.
The paid tiers are what skip that queue, from $9.90, and the site pushes a $49 SEO article and a $50 backlink-network package alongside them.
The category list runs to hundreds of entries with near duplicates like SEO and SEO Tools, so search it rather than scrolling.
The form resets completely on any navigation away, and re-selecting the launch type clears a passed badge verification, so a stumble means refilling all three steps.

Let your agent submit to Launch Ranking

Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the Launch Ranking playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.

What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 4 Launch Ranking rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 4 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Warns you that Launch Ranking looks for its badge on your site, so it has to be live before you submit rather than after.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: free Launch is $0 and needs their badge on your site plus a passed backlink check, then up to 14 days in the queue. Premium is $9.90 and skips the queue, Premium Plus $12.90 adds a permanent featured border and a home page spot, and a $49 SEO Growth Package buys a dedicated review article. A separate $50 DR Booster submits you to their own directory network.
Types it into Launch Ranking in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to Launch Ranking?".
