Who IndieFame accepts

You need
A Google account, the only way in
Their badge on your homepage or footer before anything can be submitted
A logo file under 2 MB
You'll be rejected if
The verifier fetches your homepage looking for its own badge markup, so a product you cannot add HTML to cannot be listed here at all.

What you actually get
A card in the directory carrying an "Verified owner" or "Approved" pill, plus a product page built out of a long SEO block they ask you to fill: primary keyword, target audience, use case, key features, alternatives, integrations, FAQs. The directory is tiny, around a dozen products, and the site is three weeks old, so this is early rather than established.

How to submit to IndieFame

  1. Sign in with Google
There is no other method and no password. /submit is a 404: the real route is /dashboard, which redirects to /sign-in.
  2. Fill the draft at /dashboard/products/new
URL, name, tagline, description, product and founder X handles, a logo, and at least one category. There is a "Fill with AI" button beside the URL if you would rather it drafted the copy.
  3. Fill the AI Search Profile if you want the page to say anything
Optional but long: primary keyword, target audience, use case, pricing model, a one-sentence definition, secondary keywords, key features, best for, alternatives, integrations, a founder quote and up to five FAQs.
  4. Save the draft, then put the badge up
"Create product draft" saves without publishing. The Ownership verification panel underneath then offers three badges, Verified by, Featured on and Listed on, each in light and dark.
  5. Verify the badge, then submit for approval
"Verify badge" fetches your homepage and looks for the markup. Only then does "Submit for approval" do anything.

Gotchas

The badge is not a nice-to-have here. Nothing can be submitted for approval until their verifier finds it on your site, so a listing costs you a permanent link out.
Their submit is broken as of this writing: after Verify badge reports "Product verified" and Badge status reads verified, Submit for approval still refuses with "Verify the IndieFame badge before submitting for approval" and leaves the row at draft. The panel and the submit handler disagree about the same record.
Sign-in is Google only. There is no email and password option anywhere.
The category picker offers exactly one option, Directories, whatever you type into it, so the taxonomy on the homepage is not the taxonomy the form will give you.
The directory held eleven products when this was written and the domain is a few weeks old, so treat it as a first-mover bet rather than traffic.

Let your agent submit to IndieFame

Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the IndieFame playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.

What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 4 IndieFame rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 3 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Warns you that IndieFame looks for its badge on your site, so it has to be live before you submit rather than after.
Types it into IndieFame in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to IndieFame?".
