What you actually get
A page under your own slug with the stack, the platform and links to the product and its demo. It is organised by framework, Next.js 55, SaaS 102, React 11 and so on, so a listing puts you in front of somebody choosing a starter for that exact stack. Both outbound links carry rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" and a ?ref=boilerplatelist parameter.

How to submit to BoilerplateList

  1. Open /submit
    No account. The form is name, email, boilerplate name, website URL, a description and a privacy policy checkbox.
  2. Link to the product page or the repo
    Their own tips say to link directly to one of those, not to a blog post, and to use the official product name.
  3. Send it and wait
    They say they review every submission by hand within a few days.

Both links on a listing are nofollow, the product one and the demo one, so this is an audience play and not a link.
It only takes boilerplates. A SaaS product, a tool or a service is out of scope no matter how developer-facing it is.
Listings are filed by framework and the counts are public, so pick the stack tag a buyer would actually filter on.
Every submission is read by a person and duplicates are rejected, so a near-copy of something already listed will not go up.
