What you actually get
A pin on a Mapbox world map where you say you are building, with your logo, a description and a link out. The pins on it link with rel="noopener noreferrer", so they follow. It stays up as long as the site does: they recheck the URLs and pull a pin whose site has been down two months.

- Sign inGoogle or a magic link at /signin. There is no password option.
- Drop the pinFrom the dashboard: a location, your logo, a description and the URL. All four are editable afterwards from the same dashboard.

Gotchas
The pin is tied to your site staying up. They recheck the URLs and remove anything that has been down for two months, so a project you park is a dollar you lose.
Google sign-in did nothing when clicked here; the magic link is the reliable way in.
One dollar buys one pin, so a maker with several products is choosing which one goes on the map rather than listing them all.
Let your agent submit to IndieMap
Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the IndieMap playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.
What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 4 IndieMap rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 4 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: $1 per pin, once. Their FAQ says it in those words: no subscription and no second tier.
Types it into IndieMap in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to IndieMap?".
