What you actually get
A card in a testing queue rather than a launch feed, and what you are being sent is written feedback from other makers: about three thousand nine hundred exchanges so far against a thousand apps. Listings link out with rel="noopener noreferrer", so the link follows. The feedback is released to the tester only when you approve it, which is what keeps drive-by reviews out. There is an Indie game shelf alongside the software ones, and game playtesting is one of the things people come here to ask for. A new account starts with 5 credits, and a submitted app stays private until you have tested 2 apps or hold 20 credits.

How to submit to Indie App Circle

  1. Make an account
Clerk, at /sign-up: Google or an email and password. The Google button is a popup, so in a browser that blocks popups nothing happens at all.
  2. Add the app
An onboarding modal offers I want feedback on my app. The form is name, link, description, testing instructions, credits per test, minutes to complete, a logo, whether testers must sign up, platforms and a target audience. It saves immediately.
  3. Earn your way live
The app is submitted but private until you have given feedback on 2 apps or hold 20 credits. A new account has 5.

Gotchas

Submitting is not publishing. The app is saved at once and stays private until you have given feedback on two other apps or hold twenty credits, and a new account starts with five.
You set the reward yourself, and five credits per test with five in the balance funds exactly one tester. Everything past that is earned or bought.
Feedback has to be approved by the app owner before credits move, and auto-approves after 48 hours if they do not answer. That cuts both ways.
The Continue with Google button opens a popup, and with popups blocked it looks like nothing happened at all.
