A place in a curated list of indie developer tools grouped into 34 type categories, sourced from a public Awesome list on GitHub. They say a submission is checked for link, category, description quality and relevance before it goes live, and may be picked up in later update posts. The category pages render no outbound anchors to the listed tools, so the link value could not be checked.

How to submit to Indie Tools

  1. Fill the form
    Name, a one or two sentence description, the link, and one of 34 types. No account needed to fill it in.
  2. Sign in when you press Submit
    Google, or the other options behind Login.
  3. Meet the paywall
    Pressing Submit again opens a Submit Product dialog reading $9.9 with a Pay Now button. There is no free route past it.

Gotchas

The price is not on the submit page, the pricing link in the nav 404s, and the $9.90 dialog only appears after the form is filled and you have signed in.
Signing in mid-flow does keep what you typed, which is more than most of these do, but the type radio has to be picked again.
The category pages render the listed tools without outbound anchors, so there is no link to inspect and no way to judge what the listing is worth before paying.
