What you actually get
A company profile inside category pages that rank for "top <service> companies" queries, in a directory that claims 10 million monthly users across 160 countries. It is a leads-and-reviews channel: every outbound link on their directory pages, including the Visit button, carries rel="nofollow noopener".

How to submit to GoodFirms

1
Skip the enquiry form on the get-listed page
/get-listed is a sales page with its own contact form, and that form is not the listing. The two controls that matter are List your company for free and Apply for free listing, both of which leave for myaccount.goodfirms.co.
2
Create the account
Full name, company name, job title, company website, business email, a password of at least eight characters and a confirmation, behind a Cloudflare Turnstile. There is no Google, LinkedIn or GitHub route.
3
Build the listing inside the account
Everything about the company profile, the services, the portfolio and the categories is collected in the account rather than on the public form, so the visible page is not the work.
4
Chase reviews
Their category rankings are review-driven, and the Pro tier is sold as verification on top of that.

Gotchas

There is no social sign-in: the only route in is an email and a password, and the field is labelled business email rather than email.
The form on /get-listed is a sales enquiry, not the listing. Filling it and waiting means waiting for a call, not for a profile.
The pitch has moved off the directory entirely: the page sells visibility inside GPT, Gemini and Perplexity, which is a claim about someone else's ranking that nobody can hold them to.

Let your agent submit to GoodFirms

Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the GoodFirms playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.

What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 5 GoodFirms rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 5 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: the listing is free. GoodFirms Pro is the paid tier, sold as pro-verified provider status, and the whole get-listed page is a pitch for visibility inside GPT, Gemini and Perplexity rather than for the listing itself.
Types it into GoodFirms in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to GoodFirms?".
