What you actually get
A page in a catalogue of about 50 AI categories with pricing filters (free, free trial, freemium, paid) as first-class navigation, so a reader can find tools by what they cost as well as by what they do. The listing is worth what the badge costs you, and no more: this is a link and a citation rather than a launch.

How to submit to Good AI Tools

  1. Sign in with Google
"Log in with Google" is the only option on /get-started; there is no email and password route anywhere in the flow.
  2. Pick the FREE plan
A three-card chooser opens first: FREE, BASIC at $25 and PREMIUM at $50. Only the free card is a listing; the paid two are a submission service for other people's directories.
  3. Step 1: enter your homepage
/submit is a three-step flow. One field, Website URL, and a Generate Badge button. The URL has to be the product homepage.
  4. Step 2: install and verify the badge
They generate the listing URL from the domain (submitmap.com became /ai/submitmap) and give light and dark snippets that must link to that exact URL as a followed link, from your homepage or footer. Then Verify Badge.
  5. Step 3: fill the listing details
Unlocked by the badge check. Site name capped at 40 characters, a screenshot up to 10MB, a square icon up to 5MB, up to four categories from about fifty checkboxes, a pricing model, a 150-character short description, a 1,500-character about, and a terms checkbox. It posts to /success.

Good AI Tools requirements

A Google account
A product homepage you can edit
Their badge on that page, linking to your listing URL with a followed link
Site name, a screenshot and a square icon
name 40, screenshot 10MB, icon 5MB
Categories and a pricing model
up to 4 of about 50
A short description and an about
short 150, about 1500
The terms and conditions checkbox, which blocks the submit

Gotchas

The badge comes before the form, not after it: the listing details are not shown until their crawler has found the badge on your live site, so a deploy has to happen in the middle of the submission.
Sign-in is Google-only, with no email and password route anywhere, so a maker without a Google account cannot list at all.
Two of the three cards in the plan chooser do not list you here at all. They buy a run at other people's directories, and they sit beside the one you came for with no visible difference in kind.
