Limits and errors
Searching, qualifying and planning are free. What the free tier meters is a recorded outcome, and it is spent once, for good.
1 project and 5 tracked submissions. Searching the directory, qualifying a product, reading a platform, storing a project and planning a run are all free and unmetered.
Recording an outcome. A tracked platform is spent when record_submission writes one, whatever the status, and it stays spent even if the listing is later rejected. Planning a hundred platforms spends nothing.
A readable tool result with isError set, never a crash and never a silent no-op. It says nothing was written, which quota was reached, and where the maker lifts it. Retrying the same call will not help; it is not a rate limit.
The three open tools answer normally. An account tool answers with an unauthenticated challenge and instructions: sign in, mint a token, put it in the client config. Clients that support OAuth show a Connect button instead.
No. Plan the whole run regardless: the plan is free and the meter only bites when outcomes are recorded. An agent that reads a cap and tells the maker the job is impossible has misread it.
The amounts, in public and without an account, are on the pricing page. A limit you have actually reached is lifted from your billing page, which is also the URL the server hands your agent when it refuses a write.
