What you actually get
A startup profile carrying your pitch, full description, screenshot, category, tags and country, cross-linked from their market and location pages. The outbound product link is a plain rel="noopener", so it is followed. The site has been running since 2015.
How to submit to Startup Buffer
1Basic info
Name, website URL and business email. No account is created; they email a private edit link to that address instead.
2Your story
A one-sentence pitch, a description of at least three or four sentences, and a required screenshot capped at 500kb.
3Discovery details
Optional country, city, primary category, tags, a video and social links, all used to place the profile on their market and location pages.
4Land on the upsell
Submitting redirects to a promotion page that confirms the submission is in, names the listing and says it is still in review.

Gotchas
The required screenshot is capped at 500kb, which a normal full-width product screenshot exceeds without thinking about it, and it is the only hard limit in the form.
There is no account, so the only way back into your own listing is the private edit link they email to the address you typed. Get that address right or you cannot edit anything later.
Submitting drops you straight onto a paid promotion page rather than a confirmation, which reads as a checkout step until you notice the line saying the submission is already in.
The site answers 403 to anything that is not a real browser, so a maker checking whether it is alive from a script will conclude it is down when it is not.
