What you actually get
A page on a site-alternatives finder, which is a different shape of listing from a launch board: your entry appears as an alternative on the pages of sites like yours, so the traffic is people looking for a replacement for a competitor. Adding your own site is validated and approved immediately; getting onto a specific competitor's list is a separate, reviewed suggestion.

Search for your own domain
There is no submit form. The instructions on /add-site say to go to the homepage, type your URL and press Search.

If the site is not already in their system, the search turns into a form asking for the website's details.

Suggest yourself onto a competitor's page, separately
To appear on an existing site's list, search that site, scroll to the bottom of its page and use the submission form there. That one is reviewed by hand.

There is no submit form. The add-site page is instructions telling you to search for your own domain from the homepage, which is the only route in, and a search that finds you already listed leaves nothing to do.
Getting onto a specific competitor's alternatives page is a second, different submission: it lives at the bottom of that competitor's page and is reviewed by hand rather than approved on the spot.
They refuse adult, gambling and phishing sites and anything they judge unsuitable for children, which is broader than the usual list and is not appealable anywhere in the flow.
