What you actually get
A card in a small curated directory with an Editor's Choice block and a Latest Additions feed. The link value depends on the tier and you can check it from outside: the featured LaunchVoid card links out with rel="noopener noreferrer", while an ordinary listing carries rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow".
How to submit to Hunt Startup
- Make an account/submit redirects to /auth?mode=signup, which offers Google or a full name, email and password with a six-character minimum. Google works: it completes and writes a valid Supabase session.
- Try to reach the formYou cannot, at the time of writing. Loading /submit clears the stored session and returns you to the sign-up page, whether you type the URL or click Submit Startup in their own navigation.

Gotchas
Their submit page signs you out. The Google sign-in works and stores a valid session, and loading /submit empties local storage and bounces you back to the sign-up form. Their own Submit Startup button does the same thing. Checked four times across three fresh sign-ins.
The nofollow is on the ordinary listings and not on the featured ones, which you can confirm yourself: the featured card links out clean while a normal one carries nofollow. Assume nofollow unless you pay.
The directory is small and its own featured slot is currently a product by the same kind of operator, so judge the audience by reading the Latest Additions feed rather than the marketing.
Nothing on /pricing states a number, so the cost of Featured only appears once you are inside.
Let your agent submit to Hunt Startup
Connect SubmitMap to your AI over MCP and this page stops being something you read and copy. Your agent asks for the Hunt Startup playbook and gets the brief for this exact form, with the values already taken from your submission pack instead of placeholders you fill in by hand.
What it does for this platform
Checks your product against the 2 Hunt Startup rules above, so you find out you would be rejected before you open a tab.
Hands your agent all 2 fields this form asks for, none of them optional, already filled from your pack.
Tells you what paying buys here, so you pick it on purpose: there is a pricing page and a Featured tier. The rel on a live listing is what tells them apart: a Featured card links out clean, an ordinary one carries nofollow.
Types it into Hunt Startup in your own browser, and stops for you when the form wants a sign-in.
Records what it sent, so the dashboard can answer "did I ever submit to Hunt Startup?".
