Gotchas
The free listing is nofollow. Their pricing page sells the dofollow link as a paid feature and the FAQ confirms it: only the top products in a batch and every paid tier get one. Verified on live product pages.
The free queue is about 15 weeks and you only see the date at the final step, after the thumbnail and the copy are done. $9 Boost skips it. Batches run about nine products, so a top-three finish is reachable on a handful of votes if you can wait.
Their own pages disagree on the top price: the pricing page says Highlight is $19 one-time, the FAQ says $29. Read the checkout total rather than either page.
Refunds exist only if they reject a paid submission. Once a product is published there is no refund, so the $9 buys placement, not an outcome.
The thumbnail upload re-renders the form and clears the product name, tagline and URL you already typed, and reveals a description editor that was not there before. Fill the text after the image, not before.
